Laura Crotte


Laura Crotte is one of the community heroes in our city. Laura has founded interest in arts, culture, music, acting and dancing. Laura was born in Mexico then when she was ten she moved to the United States in Chicago, Illinois. Laura also attend community events in Humboldt Park like parades and she also attends events in other community parks. In her free time Laura does acting, arts, musical theater and dancing. Laura Crotte also does a lot of studying and education because she says that education is the important step to success.         
       Laura Crotte is an education organizer who does lots of arts, culture, acting and even education with students in the schools. Laura also supports all school activities and helps students with arts and drama class. Laura Crotte also helps the community in schools, neighborhoods and cities and she works really hard to make the school community better for all the kids for a better education and life.         
    Laura Crotte’s work as an organizer is that she works in community theater for acting, dancing and musicals and help to make boys and girls work together and do good things for the community. Laura also tries to help the school community and activities to be better for the students. Laura also thinks that arts and culture can help the community and can help the students learn about community and arts. Laura Crotte also works hard to bring justice to schools, neighborhoods and our city.  
     Laura Crotte tries to stop injustices in our community. Like she tries to stop stereotypes in our community, schools, and neighborhoods. Laura also is in programs to stop violence in our communities and she talks to kids saying that gang violence is bad for the schools and the community. Laura also tries to put a stop to discrimination and pain in the country and in our communities. Laura also tries to stop violence in our schools so there will be no more fights and gang violence in our schools. Laura Crotte also tries to stop discrimination in our community because she says “discrimination causes violence.”             
     Laura Crotte ideas on heros is someone who helps the community and the public and helps the people make society and the community better. Laura also thinks that if someone stands up to others and help others they’re heroes. Laura also thinks that if someone helps the schools and the community are heroes and someone who wanted to end violence and discrimination is a hero and a good thing someone can do.   
     By talking to Laura Crotte I learned about arts and culture and acting. I also learned about how troubled the community is and how we can do to help the community and our schools. And I also learned about how we can stop violence and discrimination in our community and in our country.  I also learned about community events and how I can protest against injustices.
