Christine Agaiby

Everyone thinks a hero needs a mask and a cape. But there’s so many heroes in the community that are just like us. They’re doing what they can to make our community a better place! Christine is a lawyer who defends the youth from getting sent to jail. She does what she can to help out and make a better change along with the people she works with. She knows a lot of her clients are innocent and all she wants to do is the right thing. “This position came up and im like of course i wanna help innocent people come out of jail.” Christine cares so much about the community.
Christine grew up in Wisconsin. She didn’t like high school. She said she didn’t like it because she was an immigrant and many people would pick on her for that. “It was very white and not diverse whatsoever, and my parents were immigrants and I was the only child of immigrants.” She is single and has no kids. Christine is nice, passionate, and very dedicated to her job. She enjoys being with the youth. She also enjoys going to farmers markets, doing yoga, and she really enjoys cooking.
Christine mostly works with the youth. She helps the youth not plead guilty if they are innocent. She also works with the victims to help prove their innocence. She needs evidence to prove it or else the jury won’t believe anything. The evidence is what proves their innocence. She talks to the victim to know more about the situation. The more she knows, the easier it'll be to prove that the victim is innocent. Even with everything that happens, she shows the victim how to not plead guilty no matter what the cops say. She knows that the victim just wants to go home and not be interrogated, but she shows the victim what to do in situations like those. Christine also thinks that the police need better improvement due to her experience with them.
Christine also thinks that the police are unfair. She thinks police need improvement. The people who get blamed for the things they didn't do, don't deserve to be sent to jail. She thinks police want to get the case over with so they blame whoever they have on the scene. No one deserves to get blamed for something they didn’t do, it just isn’t fair. It could ruin a person’s life. If their innocent then they shouldn’t plead guilty, no matter what.
Christine has many successes in her life. She has had a lot of victims who she has proven innocent. She has done so much just to help her clients win the cases. When she takes her clients to high schools she visits, the youth at the high schools usually help out the client as well. They know that the clients have not had a high school experience because they were sent to jail in their teenage years. So the high school students help out Christine with her client and really help the client feel better. Christine doesn't give up with her clients. She keeps on trying because she knows that the client is innocent and doesn't want them to get sentenced. Christine does a lot just to prove that her client is innocent.
Christine as well has ideas on heroes. She thinks that every teacher is a hero especially the ones who actually care and try to help their students. She also thinks a person with a lot of courage is a hero because not many people show their courage. Some decide not to. Someone who sticks to what they believe in and actually keeps trying to pursue what they think is right, and also a person who doesn't give up on what is right is a hero to Christine. If they know that what they're doing is right then they shouldn't give up. Anyone who can make a good change in the community is a hero indeed.
Christine is an amazing community hero! Her motivation is the youth. “You guys inspire me, I think being around your age group and seeing all the things that you are doing is amazing.” She does way more than just her job. She cooperates with her clients and actually talks to them. She helps out our community so much by helping the innocent win justice! She does whatever she cans just to help her clients, she doesn't give up no matter what. That’s a true community hero.
